Water Days

Summer is here! Yesterday was the first time that Lucas got to play in the water (except for when we went to Texas) this year.

First, we went to Grandma's house to play in the sprinkler. We invited Jade, a neighbor friend, to come. I thought that having another little kid there would help Lucas to have fun. He was very apprehensive about the water. In fact, he hardly got wet at all. He had the most fun standing by the house turning the water off and on.

We took a lunch break and went to Aunt Meghan's house and had sprinkler fun again. This time he played a little more in the water. He had three older girls to show him the way (Abigail, Sarah, and Ashlynn showed him the ropes.) Samuel got sprayed a few times and did not like it at all. But, he did have fun using the walker that was outside. He is starting to move so much. He is even going from one piece of furniture to another.

Speaking of Samuel, he is learning so many new things lately. His new favorite thing to do is clap. Sometimes he gets clapping and waving confused and puts the two together. He is so proud of himself when he gets a reaction from doing this. I'm pretty sure he is going to be a performer.

p.s. I had more pictures, but I am working from my old computer trying to clean it up.
